2018 Opioid Abuse & Heroin Overdose Solutions Summit

3rd Annual Opioid Abuse and Heroin Overdose Solutions Summit

Learning Together to Change Outcomes

GDAHC and partners hosted yet another wildly popular opioid summit, seeing over 600 attendees. Like previous years, the summit presented updates on research, legislation, and treatment, and featured several exciting panel discussions that pushed participants to challenger their understanding of substance abuse disorder, addiction and the recovery process. A highlight of the event was a panel that address prevention efforts, which featured impassioned community-level speakers including a high school student that is leading educational efforts within her peers. A PDF version of the 2018 summit program and the agenda are available for download. Presentations from the summit are available below.
